Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT)

This therapy was originally developed from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to treat Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). However, DBT skills have shown evidence of being effective to treat Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, eating disorders, non-suicidal self harm as well as suicidal thoughts, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) among other mental health concerns.
