Today she works with individuals and couples to help them develop the skills and insight to navigate their lives more confidently and manage their life challenges more effectively. Connie has a heart for those who are struggling due to their early life experiences and past trauma. She is a firm believer in the healing power of hope and compassion, and is passionate about helping individuals tap into their internal resources and develop their unique strengths to live the life they deserve.

She specialises in a broad range of issues: anxiety and stress management, self-esteem and identity, relationship difficulties, life transitions and loss and grief. As a trained Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) teacher, her therapeutic approach is gentle, and person-centered with a focus on the spiritual and compassionate capacity of the individual. She integrates a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic and Attachment-Based interventions, Neurobiological theory and trauma-informed practices (specifically Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing or EMDR) in her work with individual clients, and the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy in her work with couples. She cares deeply about personal growth and transformation and looks forward to embarking on this journey with you towards a more meaningful and purposeful life.
